Collection: Charlie's Haircare Routine
Hair is very personal and it's important to get it right when making the switch to eco-friendly and plastic-free haircare products.
Switching to a shampoo bar is one of the best things you can do. It's literally zero waste, it comes wrapped in a tiny piece of paper and that's it! All the shampoo bars that you can find it our shop are natural and do not contain any unwanted, unneeded and toxic ingredients.
Charlie uses the acai berry shampoo bar by Funky Soap Shop and has done since swapping over. This may not be the case for everyone, but Charlie was lucky that the first shampoo bar she tried was ideal for her hair type. Charlie has long, thick and curly hair.
Instead of using a conditioner, Charlie uses the vinegar rinse (also by Funky Soap Shop) every couple of weeks or so to help detangle and reduce frizz. She treats herself to the Tropical Hair Treatment by Lani once a month to help hydrate her locks.
Dry shampoo by Primal Suds help on days where you don't have time to wash your hair and plastic-free scrunchies by Tabitha Eve help to tie her hair out of her face.
Charlie uses the wooden hairbrush by EcoLiving that has been specifically designed for people with thick and curly hair, where the pins are considerably longer.
